Due to the global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, the Canadian College of Health Leaders and LEADS Canada have made the decision to cancel the 2020 LEADS Exchange Day to be held on June 17 in Edmonton, Alberta.
Protecting the health, safety, and well-being of our attendees, speakers, sponsors and staff is paramount. We have been actively monitoring the situation and following guidance from the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Chief Medical Officer of Health from Alberta and feel that cancelling the conference is best for everyone’s well being.
We will contact conference attendees regarding next steps about their registration in the coming weeks. We thank you for your patience as we sort out the logistics associated with cancelling the conference.
Your hotel reservation will be cancelled by the hotel, you do not need to contact them. However, please note that cancelling travel arrangements are the responsibility of each attendee.

Conference cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Lynne Marleau at firstname.lastname@example.org and received no later than June 5, 2020. Registration fees will be refunded minus a $25 administrative fee. There will be no refunds for cancellation requests received after June 5, 2020. LEADS Canada or its partners are not responsible for the reimbursement of travel expenses (including accommodation and food) to attend the LEADS Exchange Day.
No-shows occur when individuals register but do not attend the conference. No-shows are not eligible for a refund.
Prior to June 5, 2020, the LEADS Exchange Day Planning Committee reserves the right to make changes in programs and speakers, or to cancel the workshop if registration targets are not met or when conditions beyond its control prevail. If the workshop is not held for any reason, LEADS Canada’s liability is limited to the refund of the registration fee only.

Attendance at this program entitles certified Canadian College of Health Leaders members (CHE / Fellow) to MOC l credits toward their maintenance of certification requirement
